Wheels And Tyres Again

Hi All

I am new to all this

I have just got my IQ 3 weeks ago it is a 59 plate iq 2 in white and it has been great fun.

I want to lower it and fit different wheels and tyres but I do not want to fit large diameter rims as

1.I do a lot of miles and do not want it to be hard.and 2.I prefer the look of wider smaller rims.(old mini days)

I am thinking of 15x7 rims with 205x55 rubber, any comments appreciated

Well i can tell you, you can get 215's on there. I know its not the look your after but here is mine lowered with 18 x 35 x 215

Nice pic of your car David. Is that rubber on those wheels, or one of those strips of liquorice from a liquorice catherine wheel?

Its from the catherine wheel bob. Have eaten the blue middle lol

Your car looks great David, but the wheels are just to big for my taste.

How does it ride is it Hard and does it crash over bumps and holes.

I have to drive quite a long way to work on mostly b roads so I want it to be reasonably comfortable hese wanting to use wide 15" rims.

Ok I would say that lowering the car. ( mine is Toyota lowering kit at 25mm) made a big difference in handling . Its very positive .

As for the ride. it is quite bumpy and something i have got used to. I some times put my 15"s back on then summer comes and the big ones go on. My car is well documented on here over the last year and a half with all the modifications i have done will put a few pics as a reminder. twin exhaust, all display now blue. blue illuminated scuff panels, footwell lighting. rear camera with video input, own design Heads Up Display built into the satnav cover, Fitted tyre pressure and temp monitor. Just a few of the Mods i have done
