Wing Mirror

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to change the wing mirror (driver's side) as some one has kindly taken it off for me. Or what people have been charged if have taken it to a garage to be done.

Open there door and you will see a triangular shaped cover on the inside of the door just where it mates up to the dash. Slide this forward towards the front of the car and you will see the mounting bolts holding the mirror on. Undo them and then pull the mirror housing away from the door.

And take a look on eBay - there's quite a few used door mirrors available and they are a lot cheaper than new.. You might even get lucky and find one in the right colour which will you save a bit on painting.
