Im new to this forum so: hello world :)

my GF just bought new Auris and I copied some of her favorite music on USB
key, the problem was that, media system refuses to recognize mp3s on the key ,
or any files for that matter.

When I connected iPod it worked perfectly but just the USB key.. theres no
response what so ever,

Anybody with the same probles, any solutions?

Cheers,

Dave

Was the radio or CD playing before the USB was connected. May need to press the 'media' button and then select 'usb'. See http://www.toyota.co.uk/bv/Owners/owners_info/touchandgo/downloads/Touch_and_Go_Reference_Guide.pdf

it was, but when I tried to do that the USB icon wasn't highlighted, just like when no USB key is inserted, so
pressing it didn’t do the trick

Thanks anyway

I've had this problem recently in my car. I would check the file on your USB and make sure that they are ALL under MP3 format not MPEG-4. The radios on these don't recognize MPEG-4 media files.
