£39 Pollen Filter Replacement

This is the cost to replace a pollen filter at a Toyota dealership. Extortionate or what, it is a simple 5 min job. I changed mine for a £5 and that price included it being delivered. :ermm:

Can feed myself and family for a month on fruit and veg for that kind of money.

Could say the same thing about changing the air filter too.

Seems to be the going rate.

This figure is an additional amount on top of a Toyota service. It is entirely optional. It's a lot of money for a 5 min job.

Were you asked if you wanted the work done? If not did you give them permission to perform additional work when you handed the keys over?

Oh, that's ok then. To be fair if you work it out as a £12 part plus 20 mins labour @£60 per hour plus your vat it comes in at about £39 so not entirely unreasonable for providing a service to those who want to use it.
