Auxillary Belt Adjustment On A 59 Plate Verso 2.0 D-4D

Hi! there, could anyone out there put me strait on whether my 59 plate verso 2.0 D-4D auxillary belts have to be manually tightened or is the slack taken up by automatic tensioners? If they are adjusted manually could you please advise me how this is done. I am pretty handy with a socket set and spanners but every thing looks a bit tight in the area of the belts so wondered how big a job it is. Thanks to anyone that can help.
