Not sure how to adjust the alarm but the air movement sensor is on the central console and part of the panel comprising the red LED. Have you tried disarming that by putting some tape over it? The alarm control box is under the drivers seat - never had cause to open it but some kind of adjuster screw will be in it i'd bet for your problem.

You can lock your car without setting the alarm;

1. OPEN DRIVERS DOOR

2. SET THE CENTRAL LOCKING USING THE SWITCH ON THE INSIDE DRIVER'S DOOR PANEL

3. CLOSE DRIVERS DOOR BUT AT THE SAME TIME HOLD THE OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLE IN THE RELASE POSITION AS THE DOOR CLUNKS
