Hi all,

I've been looking around the web trying to find out the best way to improve the sound system in my 2012 Aygo Ice. The stock system isn't terrible but it lacks bass, so I thought the best thing would be to fit an underseat sub. The official Toyota sub (according to a Toyota dealer) is no longer listed as an accessory for the Ice, and it does seem Toyota have changed the speaker setup some what. It currently has two dashboard Speakers and two door Speakers.

Has anybody looked at the outputs of the headunit on the 2012 Ice, to see if the Toyota sub or any other sub could be used? If not I'll have to do the leg work myself, or worse still take it to Halfords!

Thanks.

They might have changed the head unit, but at the bottom of this post is some info on the connections for a 2011 model Ice:

I fitted the Pioneer 110 sub, which I think some others have as well. From reviews elsewhere the quality and reliability of the more budget units seems to be iffy and believe me this is not a piece of kit you want to be reinstalling at frequent intervals.
