Vsc Packed Up

hi all

just wounderd if anyone has had problems with the vsc on toyota?

last night as i was driving along the vsc off and vsc light on the dash came on and the motor lost all power? im very woried about this,

if there is a known problem i want it fixed under warranty,

so if anyone knows about or can help me with the vsc i would be very happy.

I have no personal experience, but I've heard a few people complaining about the VSC indication on various forums. Unfortunately AFAIR all of them had/have problems with the solution as the diagnostic equipment showed nothing and in one case even exchanging some modules didn't help (it was a Corolla T-Sport, I think). The light usually went on in cold & wet weather AFAIR. The really bad news is that I've also heard/read about two or three serious road situations caused by the VSC engaging in the most unexpected moments (I'm not sure, but AFAIR again, all the road situations concerned American Toyotas). Sorry, but no links today.
