So fitted hids in my 2005 aygo sport this evening! Look sweet! Wondered if any of you guys have done it in yours? Or want to know if it can be done!

do you know it is illegal to fit hids to your car if the reflectors of your h4 headlights haven't been tested and approved for use with hid bulbs also your headlights need to be self leveling / self leveling suspension and you have to have headlight washers as well, sorry to put a dampener on your day

Oh I know about that aha I'm not really bothered tbh, I have just lowered the beam so it doesn't blind people...if I get stopped will just disconnect the hids and put the old bulbs back in, not hard to do

they are also now part of the MOT test, you need self levelling system and headlight washers. If the car doesnt have them fitted it now a fail

I have some 6000k HIDs will never go back to anything less. I love them. Had them for almost a year. No pc plod issues

I think these lights are brilliant and good luck with that ;-) Personally I wouldn't fit them...I was watching one of those 'cop' programs the other night and they pulled over a guy because he only had one tail light...when they spotted the HID's on the front they confiscated the poor guys car and made him walk home!!! ....I'm not trying to spoil it for you, just saying personally I'd rather avoid that kind of attention ;-))
