I not noticed any differance when I use my A/C -

one of the reasons I bought my car was for the A/C I couldn't stand another summer sitting in traffic for hours in an oven !!

Talking of fuel comsumption I used BP Ultimate for three tank loads and thought I was using more petrol than usual so I did and experiment and worked out how many litres to 250 miles then I switched back to normal unleaded petral used full tanks the same way and I was really surprised I used 5 more litres of petrol with BP Ultimate than with the normal unleaded !! and my car seemed to drive much nicer on normal petrol !!

I might try the same trying Shell optimium.
