hi can someone tell me if a 56 plate auto aygo has separate oil for gearbox if so how do you top up please

The MMT automated manual gear box in the Aygo is separate from the engine, it requires 1.7lt of API GL-4 SAE 75W oil to fill from empty. The drian plug is on lower rear edge of the transmission & the fill plug is mid level on the rear of the transmission, fill until oil dribbles from the fill plug.

Don't use 75w 90 oil only mono grade 75w as this causes stiff gear shifts which can upset the shift motor & ECU leading to MMT reliability issues.
