I've had the Paseo for about a year, and was wondering if anyone has any idea of the feasibility of fitting ABS to a non-ABS car? I believe that it was an option when the car was new.

Any thoughts much appreciated....

this has been discussed by the Sera group for the non ABS models.

The rear disk conversion is straight forward, but all of the control electronics and the sensors etc will make it a mammoth task. Not impossible, but the scales don't balance between effort and resulting improvement.

All the SI's have ABS, ST's don't.

On the Sera, and I'd presume the same was true for the Paseo, was that ABS was one of the few factory fit options. Most of the other options were dealer fitted and these can generally easily be transferred between cars, but the factory fit ones are much less straightforward to retro fit.

Not impossible, just impractical and expensive for marginal improvement.
