We go up to the Isle of Skye each May. Last year on the way back we saw two Commer caravan conversions - not coach-builts but van conversions - on different stretches of the M74. One grey and one white over yellow - both immaculate, and both keeping up well with the motorway traffic.

Not too many left now....most we had in one place was 43 a couple of years back! It was a sight to see!! Mine is a 1977 and although a Commer it is badged Dodge. I have put an overdrive gearbox in from a Sunbeam Rapier and Webber carb with K&N and it has an RC40 exhaust of a Mini so it keeps up with modern traffic quite well....
