Removing Toyota Badges

Hey guys,

I am thinking about removing my main toyota badges at the front and rear of the car. I have de-badged the rest of the car but have been concerned about the removal of the two main badges, in case it causes alot of work.

Are the badges just glued or are they attached by something a little more secure? I would hate to remove the badges and find out I need to take the car to a bodyshop to have any holes filled in.

Any help would be appreciated. :D

Depneds on the car,

i think some of the newer cars are just clued on but dont quote me on it.

i know mine are on with glue at the back but have holes in the bonnet to attach the front one :(

I found this post about debadging, CLICK HERE....

Basically, the front one will have holes in them whereas the end it is just stuck on.

back ones are just glued on and are removed dead easy

front has locating pins and will require a bit of filler and paint

I will be taking the back one off at the weekend, maybe leave the front one until I have the courage and the spare cash to fill in any unsightly holes that it will leave.

Hey there,

Neither the front, nor the rear Badge leaves any holes (on the Yaris for sure). They both are just glued. You just need a "hot-air-blower" (how can I describe something which does the same as a hair dryer only a lot warmer? :-)) blowing it, and it will come off.

Actually I'm in need of a rear Badge for my Yaris, as my own got stolen... So if you don't need yours... :)
