Help, Replacement Engine Problems

I recently had the engine on my 56 plate Verso D4d replaced under the warranty, but the original problems persist. ...............I understand that the engine is an optifit 3/4 engine .

I have had the car back for a week. and I still have intermittent starting issues but above all after short runs I have blue smoke coming out of the exhaust poor running then everything seems ok. There is no set pattern and the car starts fine from cold .

The EGR is original and had been overhauled. Has anybody any thoughts on this,It has been 3 months of hassle although Mr T did change the engine but I seem to be back where I started.

Would really appreciate any thoughts or comments on this one.
