Charged Battery Now It Won't Start?

Hi folks got a 98 avensis 7afe enngine , needed to recharge the Battery because I left the key in the ignition in start position which drained the Battery ,so took it off and charged it now I start it but it cuts out after 1 second Cheers for any help on this matter Meloned

I had a similar experience a while back. I had blown the 7.5amp fuse that controls part of the alarm. (smokey purple colour fuse top) There are no spares installed from the factory so I temporarily robbed out the interior lamp/central locking fuse. It got the car started so I could get down to Halfw*ts to buy some more. Mine is a '98 2.0GLS so I doubt the electrics are vastly different.

Hi my car starts for about 1 sec then cuts out? So I'm thinking its the immobiliser ?
