Electric Window Knocking Sound

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone else has this issue and knows what it is.

I have an Avensis t4, All the electric windows work fine they open and close perfectly. The only issue is that on the drivers window when I press the switch to move the window up and down it sounds notchy and when the window is on its way up just before it closes there is a knock sound as if something is hitting the window. Please help?

Try lubricating the window channels with some silicone spray - not WD40.

Hi FROSTYBALLS,

I lubricated the window seals with silicone spray this morning. The noise seemed less but has come back.

Wonder what it could be...
