Calling Hilux Specialists South Wales

I've already got a post going in regards to how to fix this ticking problem I have with my 3.0 TDI hilux but its doing my nut in now and need someone who knows hilux's inside and out to look at it unlike some of the garages that are willing to chase a problem racking up their labour charges. My truck was fine until I towed my caravan back from storage and went up hill where by the engine stared ticking and had loads of smoke billow from the rear. It was near empty in fuel so there may have been some crap dragged through somewhere (theory 1). Have removed rocker cover and checked the distance on shims using gauge (all are ok.) looked at injectors (loosened each one while it was running to see if it stopped), nope. Changed diesel filter, red x, fuel cleaner in filter......still ticking. Engine running as normal, but doesn't start well in the morning but ok after first start. Help please as I need it done ASAP. Any advice or contacts for South Wales area would be MOST aprieciated.
