I am taking delivery of a 2013 T Spirit with Solar Roof option this month.

As I would like to buy and use a Scanguage, can someone kindly point out where the device needs to be pluggeed in please.

Has anybody any thoughts on the most useful pieces of info to program into the SG.

Thanks in advance barrycoll

The OBD socket is just to the left of the bonnet release lever accessed from below the lower dash panel.

It sounds like they have moved it a little bit, on the Gen 2 it is directly above the pedals and tucked away just behind where the lower dash edge finishes, it was surprisingly tricky to find the first time even with diagrams and photos on the web.

As for gauges, I'm not sure what to recommend. Probably best to look on somewhere like CleanMPG.

FWIW, the ones that I have displayed:

RPM

etc - engine temperature coolant useful for knowing what stage of warm up the system is in (if only I could remember the temperature steps).

VLT - 12V supply as I'm preoccupied or should that be paranoid about my 12V Battery!

MPH - I like to know by how much the Prius Speed display is lying to me.

thanks for that Keith....I will check out the location when I pick up the car, and if there is any change from your instructions, it will be from the horses mouth

both engine temp, and Battery condition seem like excellent advice, so thanks for that timberwolf

I have Bookmarked the priuschat scan guage stuff, Alan, so a spot on heads up

cheers barrycoll
