Yeah it's a straight in line 6 cylinder 24 valve 2 litre vvti. It's 153 bhp with 144lb torque. Top is 134 mph and 0-60 is 9.5 on the manual but mine is an Auto (shhhhh).

But it's not about the performance . . . .

Yes its normal on pre-2001 cars, I think they changed the floorpan on the newer models due to 'cheap' mats riding up under the accelerator pedal, but as long as the genuine mats are on the clip, there is nothing to worry about...
