Cigarette Lighter Not Working

Have a 58 plate Auris SR 1.6 petrol and the Cig lighter no longer works. I've checked the fuses and it's O.K. plus the other items on the same fuse continue to work O.K., Checked the connection on the bottom of the lighter and have no power, earth is O.K. as the light still works. Does anyone have an idea where the loom connectors are and how to access them.

Had the same problem, proved to be an earthing fault. Unit changed under warrenty

My '08 Auris lighter socket packed up.

I 'simply' replaced it with a new one. Be warned though the Halfords replacement was too large for the 'standard' hole! I bit of whittling was needed.
