K&n Filter Prob

Yesterday i bought a k&n filter for my avensis 1.8 vvti(2002) and it seemed that it didn't fit in the box.The s/n of the filter was 33-2230.I searched in the site of k&n and it said that it was for a avensis 2.0 . I searched and i found a filter with a s/n 33-2252 that said it was for an avensis 1.8 but when i went to the store they told me that the filter was for a corolla!!! :wacko: and it wasn't the same with the toyota's .Sooo They said that they would call k&n and ask for a solution. but i want ur opinion too!Does anyone who ownes a 1.8L vvti (2002) and have put a k&n filter can tell me the s/n so i can tell them?plz help :crybaby:
