The Butterfly Valve Removal

Hello. Some of celica owners remove the butterfly valve from air box. Is it sensible modification?

If you like the iduction kit sound then yeah, if not then no.

Some people who have done this have experienced bogging, some haven't. I have tried it is 2 ways.

1 - complete removal - Had a little bogging & didn't like it after a wee while.

2 - removed only the suction hose leave the butteryfly valve fitted - had some induction noise & no bogging. It seemed all ok, though after a wee while I just connected the hose again so it was back to normal.
