The gunners used to have Sega on their shirts. This was changed to Dreamcast during one of their European campaigns. They were playing in Italy and someone pointed out to them that Sega is Italian slang for W**K.

only a 1.7, mines a 3GHz that can run at 3.3GHz, gonna do an extreiment and get it to 5.25Ghz

zx 81 followed by a spectrum and then a C64( still got it in the attic but the tape players creamed, so familiar)

And who can forget Kempston Competition-Pro Joysticks! I never liked the quickshot as you couldn't do very well on "Daley Thompson's Decathlon" with it because it was too big to waggle.

daqmn i broke a few joysticks playing that. mum stoped me playing it as i needed a new one every week :lol:

When I was fixing computers, we used to use a ZX80 as a wedge to keep the workshop door open. !Removed! things go for loads on Ebay now. Dammit.

Errm....It was a ZX80.......And it's still in the loft, in it's original box. Don't like to part with things, you know......

My Grandfather was one of the designers on Leo, one of the very early computers. Leo was designed for Lyons corner coffee shops, it calculated volumes of ingredients for the bakery to produce the right numbers of cakes.

Amstrad CPC464 tape deck version with a COLOUR MONITOR!!! dont mess! :ph34r:

lol the good ol days of jet set willy and technician ted, spy vs spy - all in full 16 colours baby! None of that green shady crap :P

then it was a 80286,no hard disk which made me the king of ultra-fast floppy disc swapping with a 16shade amber screen (missed my CPC very much at this time)

then a 80386, still no hard disk, bah who needs one

486/SX (the "slow" version lol)

then i hit the big time with a wait for it...233Mhz AMD K6 wohooo and a proper monitor

now im on an XP2500....boring
