Hi Everyone, I am a new member.

I bought Toyota Yaris Red Colour Y Reg 2001 (Petrol- 54900 Mileage on the clock at the time of purchase) as my first car.

I found this website on Google and found it to be very helpful for first timer like me.

I need to know things/ Issues which I should be careful about this model.

I took it to the mechanic he did a basic service on it.

Anyone who owns this car kindly help me.

I will upload the pictures of my Car very soon.

Looks like no one wants to answer,

so I'll reply,

Not a lot goes wrong, but look out for clonking from the front ..anti roll bar bushes,

If they are worn it doesn't cost a lot to fix them...uhmm can't think of anything else yet.

would any one else like to add ??

goodness this forum aint like it used to be...ghost town feel to it

Check radiator for corrosion and missing fins.

Check anti freeze strength: should have been changed at 10 years old.

Check auxiliary drive belt - - see anti freeze but they go on.
