Passenger Airbag

Hi

Can someone please tell me how to turn off the passenger airbag please?

I am planning to put our baby seat there.

The rav4 is a 57 plate.

Hi Tim,

On ours there is a switch on the side of the dash.

If you open the passenger door you can see it..

You need to insert the key, twist to the 'off' position, then remove the key..

The display on the centre warning changes to let you know..

If you need more info, let me know..

Can post pic of switch if required..

Hello Tim. Open the front passender door and you will see the 'switch' panel on the end of the glove box. Use the key to switch off. When you switch on the ignition the tell tale light just above the right hand heater control should show that the airbag is switched off

Hi - I don't suppose anyone knows how to disable the front passenger airbag on a 2003 model?  It doesn't seem to have the side key referred to above.

Anyone know how to turn off on a 2019? There’s no side panel...
