Just got a 2005 T3 Prius today which I traded in my 08 reg Astra 1.8 auto estate for. Reason for getting is the rubbish fuel economy of the Astra and high tax band, £10 to £260 is a big saving. Also likely to get at least double the fuel economy if not more.

Collect car tomorrow afternoon when I pay balance of purchase price.

Here looking forward to a cheaper motoring experience

Thank you everyone for your kind words. Picked up car today and am very impressed. Had to fill tank from pick up and even then showed range as being 800 miles and it just keeps going up not down.

Given it a good run today and really impressed

Having just got owners manual from eBay as didn't come with car I have realised that what I thought was an indicator stating how far you can go on a tank is actually the trip A indicator!! Still I can still work out my economy once the log book comes through and I can get my duplicate tax disc.

Car didn't have a log book so a V62 was sent off in my name from dealers for one, but what I didn't realise at time was that as car didn't have tax disc on it, even though officially taxed to end of August I can't legally use it, so had to declare as SORN for time being.

I have taken this up with dealer asking for a courtesy car or full refund but needless to say nothing heard back as yet. I have no complaints with car, just annoyed that they sold me a car I can't use for a few weeks.
