Yaris Rust

Hiya

I have a 2000 W SR, and there is a tiny bit of rust on the door.

I must have hit the door on a wall, and over the summer a bit of rust has started.

Its out of warranty, second owner car, but i was wondering if toyota would sort it due to their 10 year anti corrosion thing

thanks

no idea but it is worth a try with them although they would probably try to tell you it never exists!

Toyota's 10 Year corrosion covers body perforation...not surface rust.

Surface rust is only covered for the first 3 years.

They should still be able to sort it easily enough....but won't be under warranty...but it's worth a try!!

I went to a body shop about the same issue, and they said that any bodyshop would just rub the rust down gently and touch it up with paint and laquer. He said I could probably do it just as good myself for £5 rather than £40-60...

Hope this helps.
