Engine Swap

well guys - hows it going?

what i'm looking to find out, is how tough is it to transplant an engine into the mister 2? i have a 1991 G-Ltd, and it's going pretty well - it's all about looks for me - i'll post some pics soon - but instead of selling it now it's done, i'm thinking about a turbo conversion!

the info i'm after is:

what year engine is best?

LSD?

any improvments i can to to the tubby? hybrid turbos, uprated intercooler etc?

anyone who is capable of this work - fensport are the only ones i can think of so far...

thanks

Ross

briefly toyed with the idea of this spoiler:

and here's how she's ended up - been lowered since then, and have almost got the interior finished...will post a few more pics when i have...

so now you may see why i'd rather do an engine swap, rather than sell it and start over again!

wouldn't be from wimborne way would you?? I was very ****** last year chatting to someone about their knocked about mr2 they'd just got, but loved it and was doing all this bodywork, the description of the car and the work that was going to be done is very similar to how your car started and looks now.

that's smooth matie .. !!

Have a look at Rogue Systems they'll do a full drive in/drive out engine swap ..

And they can do all the extras (painted cam covers etc) at the same time ..
