Finally, I put on the booster rear skirt as well.... :) got finished with painting it today, so I couldn't resist :D :D Anyways, the left exhaust pipe is still missing... so that looks kinda strange, doesn't it.... However, that rear skirt is THE BOMB!!! The car looks much "stronger" and much more solid... if you know what I'm talkin about.... I forgot the proper word in english... cuz as you know, my english isn't quite the best ;) So sorry for that....

What do you think about the skirt?

No they are not really popular, since they are still illegal... but the manufacturer is working on the papers (no idea how to translate that). The only legal tuning parts on my yaris are the rims, the lowering springs and the exhaust system :D :D

Fitting was very easy... however, I had to cut out a little piece of the original rear bumber to fit the booster part...

Just of interest how did u get rid of those hole effects around the exhaust? .. Fill them in or something?

Anyway .. well done .. cant wait to see it with the other exhaust in!

Yep, I filled these ugly holes with.... dunno how to call it :D it's used for modelling on car bodys....

How is it illegal over there? Its just that every German modded yaris I see seems to have booster tuning kit.

It's illegal because it isn't checked and approved by a technical institution here in germany. You'll need some kinda "permission to fit und use" for EVERY single modification you make.... if you don't have that, the police can even stop you and take away your license plates, so that you can't drive that car any more... AND you'll have to pay a large amount of money, it can even cost your driver's license!

Booster hasn't got those permissions for their aero parts yet.... so it's kinda risky with all that illegal stuff on :D :)

Anyway... it's also possible to make a custom checkup without any papers. The authorities will then check your mods (correct noise levels, proper fixing, etc.) and then allow you to have them... or not. Such a custom check up normally costs a lot of money.... about 100 Euros for each part. Japanese mufflers and induction systems are mostly completly illegal due to too high noise emission... alu wings and nitrious oxide systems are also illegal...

It's pretty much f***** up here in germany! I hate them laws.... you can't just do anything you want with your car..... but I mostly s*** on that

Yer, luckily its not too bad in the UK. So many people do it that the police usually let it slip (italic number plates, over tinted windows, etc...) unlesss they drivin like a **** head. Its pretty bad in some countries. Like Germany by the sounds of it.

I know in New Zealand you can't fit an exhaust that is louder than the exhaust the car came with out of the factory (this is judged by a policemans ear?!).

- T-Sport rear skirt approx. 120 pounds

sadly my yaris has been sold now.

I saw couple of pics of the Booster Kit on a dark blue Yaris but it didn't appeal at first but seeing this.....

Now you need an exhaust on the other side
