Celica St182 Rear Bottom Arm Bushes

I have a 1991 Celica (ST 182) . I've had the car for two years now. (What a fantastic car!).

It needs new rear bottom arm bushes to get through the MOT.

The bushes are in the main arm from the body to the back knuckle joint.

The Toyota dealer is quoting £200 plus for the whole assesmbly (just parts) as the bushes are not available as individual items.

Does anyone know if I can obtain the bushes from anywhere?

Great Website :help: Thanks

Last year my son had the same problem with his Celica. We ended up using 247 spares to get second han ones (chancy I know as they could have been just as bad, but worked out ok for us). At the time I also contacted Powerflex the poly bush people to see if they did a kit. They replied saying that production of a set of bushes for the Celica was due to start early 2004 so you might try contacting them. I used sales@powerflex.co.uk to email them. Their web is www.powerflex.co.uk. Good luck.
