Apexi Universal Kit?

Yeah its the same filter but does'nt come with the fittings to put it on your car - you would have to come up with something yourself.

BTW just a word of warning - the Apexi from ENVY for the 1.3L won't actually fit the newer 1.3 model's (T3 included) as it has a 2SZ engine instead of the 2NZ that the older 1.3's have.

Moxy.

Hi all saw this on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...category=36680#

Seems good for 48 quid, my question is, is it the same as envy performance sell? or will the quality be lacking or what?

Thanks

Matt

Yep, its just a universal filter less the fitting kit required to fit to your vechicle.

Its meant to be used as a replacement filter or for a custom application. Please however be advised that there are around 10 different Universal cones each with a different stud pattern on the rear flange inorder to mate up with different fitting kits on the many applications available.

If you do want a universal cone I can get them for around the same price :D

Thanks

Kevin

It's not the same shape/volume as the bespoke application, and you'll have a bugger of a job fitting it too!!!

AND another thing... you'd have to figure out a good location for the MAF sensor too (as well as fabricate a fitting), or you'll be left with a fluffy engine and a flashing warning light!

Don't waste your money...not the fiver the the "resistor" but the costs in fuel...and maintenance costs later.

Literally this just means your running with your "choke" out permenently. She'll drink loads of fuel, she get :censor: plugs and injectors...and she'll eventually run like a dog...and no...for all that you won't get 20bhp more.

stay well clear!

its just 1p 4.7k resistor and as vipes says, just jams the autochocke open!
