How Do You Remove The Headlight Bulbs!?

Tried to change my headlight bulbs today, but it looks like I need to remove the complete housing to get to the bulbs! I'm sure there is an easier way? Any guides would be appreciated!

Also, what size/fitting is the bulb?

They are very easy to change?

In my car anyway and I guess all iQ's are the same you simply remove a round cover on the side of the light fitting under the bonnet, turn it to remove it, then this reveals the plug and bulb behind it. The bulb is a bayonet fit so turn it and remove the bulb then unplug the cables once it's out.

Why do you want to change them anyway? They are HIR2 bulbs, single filament and quite hard to find. You certainly won't find any other bulbs anyway that claim to be brighter.

Some people have fitted high intensity discharge lights (HID) but personally I don't like the light they give and I seriously doubt their legality as the iq does not have automatic levelling or washing equipment on the lights.
