I was fed up with people ignoring or looking around for a small motorbike every time I pressed the horn...so went from this....

You really should tidy up that wiring as it has the potential to chafe against the panels and cause an electrical short circuit when the horn is operated

The original cable protection should be adequate

Looks pretty good, any chance of a video/audio?
Also how easy was it? Im guessing you have to take of the bumber?
I have always thought the horn was a bit pathetic, but the thought of changing it over seemed a bit over the top for me.

Hi, yes you have to remove the front bumper, have you got a Haynes manual? It's quite easy to remove. once the bumper is off, you can see how I twisted the existing mount. The existing horn has only one wire. I just used that to link the 2 horns together and earthed them both. The horns came cheap from eBay and are supplied with a wiring diagram that was easy to follow. I am no mechanic and it took me just over an hour.....A bit difficult for me to take more detailed photos unless I take my bumper off again ;-)

a tip when fitting horns is either to put some aluminum mesh (body repair) over the end of the trumpets or angle them to the sides this will eliminate the horns filling up with dirt and leaves that get forced into them whilst driving.
