2000 W Reg Yaris

Just bought a W reg ( 2000)Yaris 1.0 litre for my daughter to learn in, is there any downside I should know about, the car is clean with a new M o T, seem a little heavy on steering at low speed but drives OK and is really nippy around town

Other than that, the car has surprisingly few problems, esp. the petrol ones!

As long as it's looked after, should last as long as you need it to :)


One thing tho'; I was surprised you find the steering heavy at low speeds; This car has the lightest steering of any car I've ever driven! (Ironically, I was complaining that the steering was TOO light when I first joined this forum! )

Welcome to the world of the Toyota Yaris! I'm sure you'll find it is an excellent reliable car. We all do of ours!

Heavy steering could be something as simple as underinflated tyres - give them a check and that should be problem solved.
