Or Buy A JL AMP as it takes high input- and is still a quality amp not a chump overated PMPO Claimed millon wattstype affair.

This is what i did on my A2 and it sounded very good. Oh by the way a shamless plug, i no longer need this amp if you are interested as i am sticking with just Bose in my new Car. Looking to recover around 2/3rds of the value.

either use a pre-out converter or just use amps that are capable of taking high-level input

Where could I get a pre-out converter?? So if i get one of these, i can use any type of amp with the standard player?

Maplins are probably favourite. i`m sure you could get one from any good car stereo shop, but it is things like that where they slap a huge premium on!
