Au Corolla Hatch (Auris)

hey im new to forum and recently got the 2013 corolla hatch (auris)

got some question, hope some one here could help'

so first it about the Instrument cluster (meters and display) dose it light up when engine ignition on automatic or it only turn on when turn the light switch? it confuse me because i read the user manual and it say "*The meters and display illuminate when the engine switch is in IGNITION ON mode." but my does not turn on automatic only when i turn the light switch on then it light up.

and the 2nd thing it about the front fog light, wanting to change it to LED, so look in user manual to check for light bulbs socket size, and it say H16 so to be sure i check the fog light and it shown H16.

so check online for h16 led it turn out different to the one on car.

on care socket look more like h11 socket.

anyone could give me some information it be great
