Broken Lift Bolt?

hey all, got a celica 2 weeks ago a 190 model X reg year 2000. got 74k on the clock and full dealer history but didn't find anywhere to show its had lift bolts done.

so I got some from dealer, 71p each, grabbed 4 just for kicks and opened it all up today to replace them.

Lift is working as normal, but I thought id change them as a service item.

one of the bolts is broken, half of it is stick inside. when looking at the engine head on its the bolt closest to the bumper that's snapped. the one at the back came out fine so I replaced it.

thing is where do I go from here. drove the car after putting it all back together and lift works as normal but id really like to change the snapped bolt somehow. any tips?

the bolt which came out was an original one without the pointy end. new one I used to replace it has a pointy end.

Hello mate, I have 2 brand new ones sitting on my bench for some time now, but not tried to change yet, my lift is also working altough some times doesnt kick in.they are simple to change, BUT if you break one then its a different ball game, so I am a wee bit scared to be honest.

Any way here is the HOW TO DO IT. http://www.users.on.net/~nbenjamin/tech/liftbolts/

Good luck. ;)
