Its is not a definite chain model on a 2.0 2006, as mid 2006 was the change over from belt to chain along with the minor model change to all Avensis models, the two easiest ways to tell are:

2.0 d4d belt engine:

Side indicator repeaters in front wings

Drivers side of engine has a large black plastic cover covering timing belt

2.0 d4d chain engine:

Side indicators in mirror casings

Drivers side of engine is a large fixed metal timing case
