Corolla Passes Scooby On Racetrack

At a local track day here in SA, I started at the back of a field of ten cars in a 8-lap chase event of half of the circuit.

We were set off after five second intervals. In the front were four Scoobies, a turbocharged Opel Kaddet T-car, an E36 M3, a VW Scirocco GTi, a MK1 Golf, a 1.4-litre Nissan Sentra and then myself at the back.

The first Scooby passed me before I could finish the third lap. On the fifth lap, two Scoobs were putting me under some serious pressure.

They passed me after I exited a turn, and opened up a pretty big gap. But I didn't give up, and took the inside line for the next two turns.

Anyway, somehow I passed one of them! I managed to unlap myself by carrying loads of corner speed and braked late into a tight bend. I don't think I'll forget it for a looooong time! :D :D

Proves my theory that the new generation scubby drivers are p**sies, seriously though.

This guy in a subaru went to race a mate of mine in Doncaster who has an escort van, any way the tw*t in the overtook him, backwards and wrote his car off comming off a round-about!!!!!!.

Was in a Renault Van (1.9 td with the boost turned up) that held off a EVO 5, nothing to do with the cars its the posers behind the wheel
