Hi guys and girls,

I know that some of you have requested more info on upcoming Corolla facelift. As said previously, changes will be fairly minor, both inside and out:

- new front lights with teardrop styling (Yaris, MR2)

- slightly changed back lights

- updated wheel designs

- more carbon/wood on the inside, armrest in the back seat

- optitron instrumentation with more style

Toyota Japan has released new pics for Japanese market Runx and Alex which have been an rebadged european Corolla hatchback in past, so I would expect that upcoming european facelift looks very similar. Main differences could be front bumper (smaller in europe), front grille (more like european avensis) and different wheel designs...

And here are the pics of Japanese Corolla Sedan and Wagon - in past they have been very similar to European version, I would expect that grille would be different.

And for the end, TTE just recently introduced TTE parts for new Corolla Verso:

Those saloon/wagon pics not right for Europe, but top ones close. Other big news is new 1.4D-4D diesel engine that comes in August/September.

From Motor Show catalogue coopy..

A refreshed Toyota Corolla will be making its UK debut at Motor Show Live. The British-built three and five-door hatchbacks and the four-door saloon models will offer new exterior and interior styling touches and improved specifications including the provision of Curtain Shield airbags as standard on all models.

The range will also feature a new 89bhp 1.4 D-4D common rail diesel engine, available from September. This will offer excellent fuel economy, performance and low emissions, complying with the tougher Euro IV standards. In a first for the Corolla, it will be offered with the option of a new Multi-mode Manual Transmission.
