Toyota Yaris 2001 Clutch Pedal Clicking When Pushing To Change Gear

hi can anyone help? i have recently purchased a yaris 51 REG. the gear change is fine but when the car is started and i press the clutch down to change gear,the pedal, makes clicking sound everytime. its really annoying me and i would like to know what i need replacing in order to stop the stupid noise.

Wear and tear .mines the same, I think it's linkage or the clutch is getting ready for a change. Don't forget your car is 12years old how many times has that clutch pedal been pressed.try taking it to a toyota dealer and asking them they don't bite!

The thing is takin the car to dealers will be a little too pricy. They will charge me for diagnosis. Thanks though. I will take to local mechanics first and see if they can help me. I just want the clicking to go away i might need to replace clutch release bearingg :(
