2013 Avensis Tourer - Tow Bar Electrics 12V Supply

Hi

Just fitting a tow bar to my Avensis Tourer but need to find a 12V auxilary supply to feed the Bypass Relay.

Does anyone know if there is a spare/suitable 12V supply in the rear of the vehicle I can tap into or am I faced with running a cable through the car from the engine bay?

I'm in the same position, did you solve the problem?

Looking at various Toyota information I'm of the opinion there is no auxiliary 12V supply in the rear of the vehicle.

You are correct Roger, the feed needs to come direct from the Battery using a good heavy wire or the voltage drop will cause problems.

No it's a 1946 B32 Competition, which I restored two years ago. I also have a 1955 B31.
