60K Service Plus Mot Due

07 Avensis D4-D TR

Toyota have just quoted me £229 for a 60k service, I have a feeling that one of the major belts needs to be changed at this mileage (timing belt?). Would the quoted price include such a change? Seems very cheap to me.

When should the belt be changed?

Is your T25 Avensis new or old shape?

If is new, there is no need to replace cambelt, as all new models have timing chain (after 2006)

Non of the above include any drive belts (as said chain on yours)

Thanks guys. I have just been quoted £180 for service + MOT at an independant, a saving of £94, so that will do me!

Good info. on timing belt, a bit of a relief!
