I've done it and it's nothing too difficult.

Just bought a set of H11 LED blubs. After that I removed my bumper and cut the wires which were routed to my low beams. I inserted some more wire in between the cutted pieces to extend the wires and make them reach my foggies. After that I routed the foggy wires to my low beam lights. They did not require to be extended, as the wires are long enough from the factory. Then just put my bumper together and everything's fine now.

When I turn ignition on, my parkers and DRLs do light up. Turn the switch to the next position, and my low beams light up and DRLs are being turned off at the same time. Turn the switch to the next position and my low beams stay on and DRLs do light up aswell. In this position it is also possible to turn high beams permanently on.

Good luck, hope this helps!

thanks speed chaser. what i really want to do is that when the ignition is on the foggies turn on but i want to keep the function of turning on/off with the other lights as well.

No problem. But do you mean this is now exactly what you want to do? Doing it like this will make it possible to turn the DRLs on and off (by turning the switch).

I had only DRLs for some time too, I removed parking light bulbs at that time. It's the easiest thing to do to make it work like you want.

it passed my mind removing the parking lights but like that you still have the back lights on. cars having oem drls have only the drls on when using drls.

Well, I think you can use some relay setup as an option. But why turn your rear lights off? It didn't even cross my mind when I was doing mine. Not all cars have this setup, but mostly yes, the back lights are off too. If it was like that from the factory, I would probably change them to on because I drive with DRLs when it's getting allready dark and also it's safe when road is wet. Rear of the car might not be easy to notice for other drivers if you've got no lights there. But I don't need to think about that because I know the lights are always there. Just my thoughts, in the end it's your decision how you'll make them work :)

i searched and it seemst that i have to use relays, etc and that's too much complicated for me as i always do a mess when it comes to electrics. i think i'll refrain from touching the electrics and just remember to switch on the lights everytime i start up the car. thanks for the input anyways.
