Reverse Problem Avensis T3-X

Hi,

Can anybody help?

I have a 2003 avensis t3-x and there is a problem with the reverse light and reverse parking sensors. Neither will come on while i am reversing. Does anybody know how to sort this problem out or what the problem might be? Also, where is the damn reverse light fuse? I have found the fuse box behind the glove box but when i look at the list of fuses there isnt one for reverse light? Anybody know the code for this fuse?

I have a photo of the fuse chart from the inside of the glove box if there is anywhere on here i can post it?

Oh, the reverse bulb is fine

Its possible that the switch that tells the electrics that you have selected reverse gear has failed, hence neither the light nor sensor operating. I would rule out the fuses first though, much simpler to check.
