Must Be Nearly Summer

17C this morning and my first 70mpg commute of the year. Could this be the start of summer?

Was 24C here yesterday..............but don't hold your breath....................17C forecast for tomorrow with thunder and heavy rain at times

I keep max/min shade temperature records in my back garden.

There was a very definite change in temperature patterns at the end of March and by mid-April we were seeing 19C.

Since then the mean temperatures have been pretty steady but with a very gentle upward trend.

We saw 22C on May 7th, on June 1st and again yesterday.

I have been getting improved mpg since mid-April.
