I have an Aygo blue 08 model, i really want to customise it on the outside, i haven't got a big budget as i only passed my test a couple of months ago and dont want anything to raise my insurance as its already £2,500!!! nothing needs doing to the inside as ive already upgraded the audio and also a few other small things. Open to all ideas big or small :)

A white stripe across the car offset to the right.

They can look good and are cheap to do also they are fully reversible.

if you dont want to raise your insurance then dont change anything

even changing your audio can change your insurance premium

in 1988 i paid £2500 for my audio and zurich gave me 7 days notice

of cancellation.

Eygo I didn't even know that but i haven't paid that much for my audio i paid no more than £250 and if i tell the insurance they will probably qoute me more than what its worth, but im liking the stripe idea it would look really good

Hi,

If you have any problems at all with insurance then please don't hesitate to drop me a line. We have a large number of schemes that cater for modified cars.

Most insurers have a clause re in car entertainment equipment.

For example my insurance company(LV) state -

"they will provide unlimited cover for in car entertainment equipment if the equipment was fitted by the manufacturer and was part of the standard specification of your car when first registered.

If the equipment was not part of the car when first registered, whether permanently fitted or portable, they will pay up to £500."

I've got a 2013(December 2012 prerelease) Aygo Fire, and I'm only 1,200 for insurance... This doesn't make sense.

On the topic of modifications, I debadged the back of my car the other day :)

Didn't take me more than ten minutes and it's still recognisably an aygo, just a bit more smooth shaven ;D (Beware though, there's two holes holding the "Toyota" and "Aygo" badges in place, along with adhesive)

Next mods, a black roof wrap along with side mirrors, black rally style mudflaps(front and back), and a few neons(off road use (; )
