I have a 1997 Camry and I cracked the plastic housing around the driver's side mirror, so I'd like to replace it if possible. The mirror itself is fine, as are the motor and all of the associated electronics, so I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of someplace where I could buy the appropriate replacement parts. Will I have to buy an entirely new mirror? Are they particularly difficult to install?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

These are fairly simple to replace and the cheapest option is a junkyard.

Thanks for the response. I've also taken a look at e-bay and the like, and I've found some reasonably cheap complete mirror packages. There seem to be two different options to buying replacement mirrors: USA-Built and Japan-Built. What's the difference? The Japan-Built ones seem to be much cheaper, and that makes me somewhat wary ...

Not sure of the difference.Maybe you could e-mail them.
