Soot On Tail Pipe

Guys I bought a used RAV4 J recently, manual transmission. of late I have noticed heavy soot around the tail pipe unlike when i bouth it. What could be the problem. Is it something to worry about?

If it does short trips it will regularly be on choke. You should also check the air filter. If it still smells rich when warm, get it looked at. If not, don't worry.

chek also with MAF sensor and EGR

any other abnormal noises heard ?
